2025 has been an exceptional one for charitable action and community spirit across our school. In close partnership with the PTA, our pupils, staff, and families have come together to support a wide range of initiatives that have strengthened our values of kindness, generosity, empathy, and collective responsibility. Thanks to these combined efforts, we are proud to announce that £21,000 has been raised this academic year for charities including White Ribbon, the Gold Standard Charitable Trust, and The Marylebone Project, among others making a meaningful difference in our wider community.
From the outset of the year, fundraising events have brought our school community together with energy and purpose. Three lively PTA bake sales provided not only delicious treats, but also valuable contributions to our charity total. Our second-hand uniform sale reinforced our commitment to sustainability while raising further funds for vital causes.
A festive favourite, the Charity Christmas Film and Pizza Night, returned to great success, offering boys a joyful winter evening while supporting local initiatives. Creativity was on full display as Year 8 designed and delivered their much-loved interactive funfair for the Lower School, an event that continues to be both a highlight for younger pupils and a testament to the leadership of our oldest year group.
The annual School Fete once again proved to be a flagship moment in our fundraising calendar, drawing families together for a day of games, stalls, and celebration. Acts of generosity extended well beyond financial contributions, as pupils and families donated thoughtfully assembled Easter hampers for residents at a local care home and for The Marylebone Project, helping to support women experiencing homelessness or crisis.
Additional initiatives, including raffle competitions, several spirited non-uniform days, and most recently a delivery of Christmas hamper goodies to the local residents of Marylebone, demonstrated the enthusiasm of our school community to give back in every way possible.
Together, these charitable efforts show what can be achieved when a community unites behind a shared purpose. We are enormously proud of the compassion and commitment shown by our pupils, staff, and families.
Thank you to everyone involved for helping us make a positive impact and for ensuring 2025 was a remarkable year of giving.
