A Word From the Head
Welcome to Wetherby Preparatory School.
As Head of this great School, I am delighted to welcome you to our website which I hope gives you a flavour of the kind of place Wetherby Preparatory School is. We aim to give each boy the opportunity to explore within their learning and encourage our boys to develop a deep curiosity for the world around them, so that they become self-motivated and driven to find out more.
Wetherby Preparatory is a very special school with a great community at its heart. It is this community which comes together, united in our quest to educate future leaders, that is at the core of everything we do. We hope the boys will develop skills needed for life beyond education and we want them to be driven in their learning, to push themselves beyond their comfort zones and to seek to discover answers to the world around them.
Wetherby boys experience many different things, from the curriculum to the arts to sports. We want boys to excel to the best of their abilities in all these areas, and we encourage them to take up extra-curricular activities to develop new interests and passions.
In London, where parents are spoiled for choice when choosing a Prep School, Wetherby Preparatory offers that little bit extra, backed by the Inspired Group who believe passionately in education and offer support and excellence to us as a school.
I am proud to be the first Headmistress of this well-established school and to shepherd the boys’ growth is truly a privilege. Boys leave us ready to move onto their Senior Schools in London and beyond, and we are proud to send our boys to the top day and boarding schools across the country.
Please do come and visit us to get a feel for the buzz and energy, coupled with contemplative learning, in the building, as the boys discover our broad and stimulating curriculum. It would be my great pleasure to welcome you to Wetherby Preparatory here in beautiful Marylebone so that you can see for yourselves just what a happy and thriving place Wetherby Preparatory is.
Warm wishes,
Nina Kingsmill Moore
