WELCOME TO WETHERBY PREPARATORY

Nick Baker has been at the school since its start in September 2004. Having joined as Senior Master, he was subsequently promoted internally to Deputy Head and now Headmaster. Previously at Chesham Preparatory School in Buckinghamshire, Mr Baker studied Geography at University College London before completing his PGCE at Newcastle University. He is married with two young children.

The school’s motto: “Participes Civitatis” (being part of a community), exemplifies life at Wetherby Prep School.   As one community, the boys, staff and parents come together to create a unique educational experience.  With regular communication with parents and a strong PTA, we believe in partnership and cooperation.

Every boy at Wetherby Prep is given the opportunity to shine.  Whether they study for a scholarship, excel on the sports field, perform in the choir, play a musical instrument or take part in one of the many clubs at the school, it is our aim that every boy can be identified with a particular talent.  This is not the school for an apathetic pupil - we applaud enthusiasm.
