common entrance preparation

Here at Wetherby Preparatory School, we pride ourselves in ensuring that our boys are not only prepared for the challenges of the Common Entrance examinations but also enjoy the journey.  Boys begin the Common Entrance Syllabus at the beginning of Year 6 so that they are fully prepared to achieve their goal when it comes to sitting the Entrance exam for their chosen school. By reflecting on their own learning, they work with their specialist teachers to devise individual targets to enable them improve on their performances.

We also hold evenings for prospective school representatives to make presentations to parents on their individual establishments. This enables our parents to make informed decisions about school choices. In addition to this, we produce a comprehensive booklet offering effective communication that will guide parents through the entire process.
